Coach Prince Owusu says his players are intelligent enough to avoid defeat against Tema Youth on Sunday.
Vision FC journey to the Harbour City to face Tema Youth FC on matchday 13 of the ongoing Division One League having got back on track with a home win against Tudu Mighty Jets in midweek.
A win for Vision FC will brighten their Premier League qualification chances and Coach Owusu, who previously led the Tema-based side to a goalless draw against the Eewo boys at Amrahia during the truncated 2017/2018 season believes his current side will fight to pick at least a point against Tema Youth when they battle each other on Sunday.
“I believe we can win or get a point against Tema Youth, I don’t expect us to lose,” said Prince Owusu in a pre-match interview.
“I don’t also expect us to go there and play unintelligently, we will not do that. Vision FC are such that we look at the opponent very well, assess them and have a tactical play and that is what we’re going to do.”
“I am strongly believing that we’ll go there and we’ll be intelligent- I have coached them before and I know them very well.”
He further stated: “We are looking forward to this game, it is important for that we’re tactically very discipline.”
Amrahia-based Vision FC recorded their biggest win thus far this season when they thrashed Amidaus Professionals 5-0 in week 5 at the Tema Sports Stadium.
Vision FC sit first on the league table with 25 points after 12 games whiles Tema Youth are fourth in the table two points behind the high-flying side.
