Osei: We are happy to be back on track

Teenager Johnson Osei says his side is on course to get back to its old self after the decisive 1-0 win over Tudu Mighty Jets on Wednesday. Frank Kwame Oppong’s 35th-minute header made the difference at the Nii Amoah Okromansah Park, Amrahia as they picked the valuable points after going three games without a win.

The win has lifted Vision FC back to the top spot on the league table with 25 points and Johnson Osei feels that the win came at the right time ahead of Sunday’s big game against 4th-placed Tema Youth.

“It’s a positive result for us, it has boosted our morale ahead of our next game against Tema Youth on Sunday,” he told www.visionfc.org

“Things haven’t gone on that well in our recent games therefore this particular win was very vital for us.

“We are still on course and we are preparing for our next game”

Vision FC had struggled in their last three games prior, losing two games in a row and drawing one against Accra City, Danbort and Nania FC respectively.

The Eewo lads will battle Tema Youth on Sunday in a crunch week 13 clash at the Tema Sports Stadium in a 3:00 PM kick-off.

Osei was very instrumental in the team’s narrow win on midweek and was adjudged the Man-of-The-Match.
