Our pressure paid off midway through the first half when skipper Oppong headed home a cross from shot-stopper Willam Emmanuel Essu’s free-kick. Arthur tried to capitalize on a counter-attack but his effort from a rebound was blocked and cleared.
Ten minutes into the second half, Nanakwasi Arthur ran through on goal but got his low-drive shot punched by the Jets’ keeper. Mighty Jets went close to equalizing but their effort from setpieces missed the post narrowly.
